In 2020, Curtis, a hotel industry veteran, founded Roomza as a people-driven hotel brand focusing on providing safe, comfortable, and personalized experiences for travelers and fairer wages for workers. From tagging along as a child when his mom cleaned rooms to launching new hotel brands, Curtis's passion for inclusive hospitality has grown over the course of his career and has helped shape modern hotel travel.

Curtis lives between Seattle, Washington and New York City with his husband, Michael, and their beloved pets: Shako, Katie, and Priscilla.

With years of experience in finance and accounting, Sam began her career at PwC as an auditor and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and graduate of Lehigh University College of Business. Prior to joining Roomza in 2021, Sam served in numerous finance leadership roles, most recently as Director of Finance at IMGN Media which was acquired by Warner Music Group.

Sam's mission is to provide underrepresented minority guests & hotel workers with opportunities traditionally left inaccessible in the industry. Sam is a Long Island native and lives in New York City.
