Add your rooms

Roomza works at the level of individual rooms, so it needs to know what rooms you have. There are two ways to add them.

Option 1: the Room Matrix spreadsheet

The Room Matrix is a single spreadsheet describing your whole inventory: room numbers, types, bed setup, views, square footage, accessibility, and more. Download the template during onboarding or from Settings, then Import, fill it in, and upload it. Every room and room type is created in one shot, and each room automatically gets its own QR code.

You don't need to fill every column. Room number is the only requirement; everything else enriches your profile over time.

Option 2: quick start without a file

Signing up from your phone with the spreadsheet on a back-office PC? In onboarding, choose No spreadsheet handy?, enter how many rooms and floors you have, and Roomza creates a numbered draft grid (for example 3 floors and 60 rooms becomes 101 to 120, 201 to 220, 301 to 320). Refine the details whenever you like in Settings.

There is also an Email me a link to finish on desktop button that sends the setup link to your inbox.

Editing later

Rooms are never locked in. Re-uploading a Room Matrix updates existing rooms by room number instead of duplicating them, and you can edit any room individually from the Rooms tab.
