Import reservations
Bring in your PMS export so Roomza can verify guests and ask them for reviews.
Reservations are the fuel for verified reviews: they let Roomza confirm a reviewer really stayed with you, and they power the review request emails.
What to upload
Export your reservations from your PMS as a CSV or Excel file and upload it at Settings, then Import. Any export works; you don't need a special format. Roomza's mapping wizard shows your file's columns and lets you point each one at the right field (guest name, room number, check-in, check-out, email). Your mapping is saved, so future uploads from the same PMS are one click.
What happens on import
- Each reservation is matched to its room by room number.
- If a room number in your file doesn't exist yet, Roomza creates the room automatically and tells you how many were added. Import order never matters.
- Duplicate reservations are skipped, so re-uploading an overlapping export is safe.
- Every new reservation creates a review invitation for that guest, valid until 14 days after checkout. Whether it is actually emailed is up to you: see How review requests work.
Keeping it flowing
Most hotels upload a fresh export once or twice a week. If you'd rather automate it, your PMS or a technical partner can push reservations directly: see The reservations API.
