What guests see: the 30-second review

One required rating, optional detail, done in half a minute.

Long forms kill response rates, so Roomza's guest review is built around a single required question.

The flow

  1. Overall, how was this room? One tap on a 1-to-5 scale. This is the only rating we require.
  2. That's the essentials. The guest chooses: finish with a quick comment, or spend about 30 more seconds rating details.
  3. Details (optional). Cleanliness, comfort, noise, condition, view, bathroom, temperature, amenities, and staff, each skippable individually. Low ratings unlock one-tap chips ("Which noise?" "What was broken, and where?") that turn a complaint into something your team can act on.
  4. A few words and photos (optional). An honest take for the next guest, an insider tip, pictures if they want.

Why optional details matter to you

Skipped categories are simply left out of that room's category averages; they are never counted as zeros and never drag a score down. A guest who only taps overall still moves your score honestly, and a guest who rates everything gives your team room-level operational detail.

Where it comes from

Guests reach this flow from the post-checkout email (already verified, zero friction) or the in-room QR code (verified by last-name match). Either way it works on any phone browser with nothing to install.
