Roomza collects from the guest

Guests pay Roomza when they book. Where your rooms come from, what the commission means, and how you are paid.

Pick this when you want guests to pay Roomza at booking. Roomza charges the guest's card, handles refunds and disputes, and pays for the stay. Guests never pay more than your own price.

Where your rooms come from

Roomza never holds hand-typed rates or availability. Your rooms come from one of two places, and you choose at setup.

Roomza picks my supplier. We sell your rooms through a hotel inventory provider we choose. The commission is fixed at 7 percent and is paid to Roomza by the supplier, not by you. These are third-party bookings and may pass through discounted rates, which you confirm you understand at setup. You pay nothing, and Roomza Intelligence is included.

Once you sign, we send your property a connection request through our supplier. Accept it on your side and you can offer Roomza guests perks (breakfast for two, late checkout, a room upgrade on arrival, and more), a rate discount, or a discount for a stay period. Whatever you offer is shown to guests as part of the booking, not as a reason to rank you higher.

I connect my inventory. We take rates and availability from your PMS or channel manager and pay you directly. You choose the commission, from 7 to 13.5 percent. Seven percent is distribution. Everything above it is what Roomza spends promoting your property off Roomza, and every campaign is logged under Promotion with its cost and results. Roomza Intelligence is included. Connectors are coming; until yours is live your property shows as connecting, and you can fall back to a Roomza-picked supplier.

How you are paid

On a Roomza-picked supplier, the supplier pays your property on its usual schedule. On connected inventory, Roomza pays you by a single-use virtual card you charge at check-in, or by bank transfer after the stay. Every stay shows up under Payments with what the guest paid, the commission, and what you receive.

Changing your mind

You can change your agreement from Payments at any time. Changes apply to bookings made after the change, and your history stays visible.

What none of this touches

Nothing a hotel pays changes what Roomza shows, scores, or ranks. Promotion money is spent off Roomza. See the Trust Charter.
