The Roomza Trust Charter.

Ratified 2026-07-15

Roomza only works if you can trust the score. So here are the rules we can never break, written down, in public, on purpose.

Can a hotel buy its score?

No.

Not at any price. The five articles below are what make that answer permanent, and they are dated and signed.

  1. Only real stays count.

Every Roomza score comes from a guest we can tie to a real reservation, in a real room, on a real night. No stay, no score.

  2. Hotels cannot buy their score.

No plan, at any price, changes a score, removes a review, or boosts a ranking. Not the free tier, not the paid tier, not a 500-property portfolio. There is no phone number to call for that. It does not exist.

  3. What hotels can buy is sight, not influence.

Paid tools help hotels see and act on their own room-level data: which rooms are slipping, what guests actually said, where to spend the renovation dollar. Visibility of the truth, never control of it.

  4. Disputes run on evidence.

Our Review Integrity tools flag reviews that can't be matched to a real stay, because fake reviews hurt guests first. Verified Roomza scores can never be disputed for being unflattering. The only thing that can take one down is proof the stay itself wasn't real.

  5. We're honest about how the lights stay on.

Aggregated, de-identified room data is licensed to companies building better travel, mapping, and robotics. Never your name, never your reservation details, never your individual review tied to you. When you book on Roomza, you never pay more than the hotel's own price. Roomza keeps a small share of what you pay. Book an exact room and we ask the hotel for it by name. Love the room you get, or tell us why in your review: Roomza pays you at least $25, then we take it to the hotel and fight for more, up to the full value of your stay. Hotels pay us nothing for bookings, and none of it can touch a score. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

We ran hotels for five years and 150,000 guests before building this. We know exactly how the game gets rigged. That’s why we wrote the rules down.
