Great one night stay

Friendly staff, great location, good pool, bed and pillows were nice, river view was nice, great restaurant next door.

Cons Room smelled musty, floor a little dirty, bathtub was a little dirty too.

I didn't sleep well; breakfast was mediocre & the river view was obstructed & the poop outside ugh.

We really liked the river & the walk along the river down to the small park with the veteran's memorial wall. It would have been nice if they had bikes we could use, but the walk was short. The bed seemed comfortable enough & was very soft & a bit high, so it was difficult to get on it. But my back was hurting all night so I couldn't get comfortable at all. The beds are really short because I'm 5'9" & my feet practically hung off the bed. The vanilla yogurt was good, the vanilla yogurt was ok, but the Yoplait Strawberry flavored yogurt wasn't even yogurt & tasted so artificial I couldn't eat it. The eggs were ok, but it was like they added flour or pancake mix to them, so they had a weird texture. I would have tried more breakfast things but there was only 1 sausage, no fresh fruit & hardly anything else at 8:30 am.

Cons The room was fine, but the bathroom smelled musty. Our son-in-law said their bathroom was a little moist & musty too especially after they hung up their swimsuits. We wanted to open our sliding door to get fresh air, but we were near the end of the hallway where all the families with several large dogs each were staying on both sides of us. It was the place where they all let their dogs out to go poo. So, when we arrived, we saw a giant pile right in front of our chairs on our patio & asked if it could be scooped up. We were told at the front desk that maintenance had just left for the day, but she would see if she could do it once she wasn't busy at the desk. Otherwise, she would have it taken care of 1st thing in the morning. It was never picked up & the dogs continued to poop right outside our door & by some nearby bushes. They should have a designated area for dogs to go poo a bit further from the hotel. We asked to be next door or at least near our daughter & her husband, which I booked at the same time as our room, but that didn't happen. They were near the lobby & we were almost at the end of the hall. I wish the outdoor pool had been heated because it had turned cold the prior day & at nights for 9/5 & 9/6, so we opted just to get in the hot tub & not the pool. The breakfast buffet had very little on it when my son & I arrived at 8:30. He made a waffle & I had 2 round egg patties & we both had a mini vanilla yogurt. People said the milk was out so no one could get cereal. I later grabbed a dribble for my husband's coffee. He came down close to 9 am & she was already putting it all away saying it's closed. He waited & waited for coffee, left & got coffee later before we left. The beds are really short because I'm 5'9" & my feet practically hung off the bed.

Perfect

An excellent hotel with a nice room and a comfortable bed. It has a balcony overlooking the river. It's absolutely quiet—all you can hear is the sound of the river. Good breakfast. I stayed an extra night.

The bed was very comfy

Cons The shower had mildew and needed to be cleaned better. There was black areas in the grout that should've been cleaned. It was pretty gross. The breakfast was not maintained I went down at 8 am on Sunday morning there was almost nothing left, no bagels, 1 English muffin the area was a mess. No yogurt!! Not happy will the breakfast at all. They could do much better.

Great room.

The bed was comforable, had a great view of river from our room, and the room was quiet.
