Cedartree Hotel

Overall great except for restaurant experience.

The Hotel design, the private & public male & female soaking pools & gym were really great. Staff was friendly & extra helpful.

Cons The food we had for dinner in the restaurant was terrible. We had the Japanese Doria, which was a pile of salty mush...and the Pork Shoulder Steak which was tough as shoe leather. The hotel is so classy & the chef was built up as something special, so we were really looking forward to a fine Japanese meal - but were sorely disappointed. It kind of put a bit of a of negative on an otherwise cool hotel. One other improvement would be to have a thermal craf of half & half at the coffe station instead packets of fake creamer.

A great place to stay and I would recommend your hotel for people to stay.

The cleanliness of the room and the property. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the onsen. We got in after midnight and the staff on duty at the front desk was friendly and greeted us with a smile and very good attitude. Very professional.

Cons The pillows was too soft.

Location away from drug, crime ridden downtown portland. Newer cleaner facility. Other hotels prior facilities rundown Free parking , no extra charge. Quite neighborhood. Hillsboro nice suburban area.

Cons Air conditioning system, blows directly on bed area. Had more than two guests but short on extra set of towels , received towels but still short wash cloths, Lucky cleanning lady next morning gave us set

Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced

Cons Floor creaked, extra toilet paper stored outside of bathroom, emergency exit plans were on a shelf, not posted on the inside of the door.

Cons Your ice in the cooler is really hard

Felt almost like I was on vacation in Tokyo.
