DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Oak Brook
Praised forfriendly staff · good location
Flagged fordirty rooms · poor amenities
I liked nothing
Cons Infested with ants in my room was 90°
This hotel used to be great but must have bad management now and I recommend avoiding the place!
Location
Cons Stayed here for 5 years now. Usually great. Other recent negative reviews are correct. Common areas not kept clean. My room had a dirty torn chair. AC did not work, was not fixed even after I complained to staff. Wallpaper ripped in areas. One bed in my room broke as soon as I laid down. Housekeeping staff did not speak English so couldn't even communicate with them. The whole place needs new management and a remodel. Will not stay here again.
My shitter overfulled
Clean renovated room
The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Cons No air conditioning in building. We left before checking in. Don’t charge full rate if no air conditioning when it’s 85 degrees outside
