Fantastic hotel in Surabaya

Beautiful large room. Facilities were great, swimming pool nice. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great, with good choices.

A hotel of this standing should provide considerably better service

The location is very strategic as it is situated in the heart of the city, close to tourist attractions and popular hangout spots for young people. However, it tends to be too crowded and congested, probably because it was during the weekend. The hotel's breakfast as well as the in-room dining service are quite varied, comprehensive, and delicious.

Cons - Room service requests are extremely slow, starting from simply asking for a spoon for eating which can take up to 1 hour of waiting, and that's even after repeatedly calling room service. This doesn't even include the incorrect meal orders that are delivered to the room instead of what was actually ordered. - They explained that data integration between the front office and restaurant is incomplete, resulting in us being asked multiple times about breakfast payment during our meal, despite our stay package already including breakfast which was paid for in advance when we made the reservation.

Room was large, staff were friendly
