The resort was wonderful. The view was amazing. The restaurant on site was great and the server Breezy was great. The resorts access to the beach was the best I’ve ever had. The resorts is older but clean. Loved it!

Stay at Driftwood Shores Restaurant

Beautiful resort located right on the beach (Florence Dunes) outside Florence Oregon. Check in was friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean, spacious and all face the oceanfront. There is a nice on-site restaurant that serves beer and wine. It also has oceanfront views. We were traveling overnight and, aside from a nice walk on the beach, we did no local exploring though Heceta Head Lighthouse Park is a half-hour north and a must see. Recommended.

Very cool - pretty much all of it! Tori was great and so helpful in both reservations and assisting us in check in when we got there. She’s your best of many good employees in my opinion

Great couple day simple getaway

We had a great time for a couple nights away from the central Oregon heat. We happen to hit a time that was super windy, 30 mph plus, so the strolls on the beach weren’t wet we expected. But it was very relaxing. The room and bed were comfortable. They gave us a towel, sheet, dog treat, and a couple of baggies upon check-in for each of my dogs. The grass right out the sliding door was nice for the dogs. The view of the ocean was lovely! The price was very reasonable.

Hotel is fine. But we aware that breakfast takes a LONG time to prepare.

The hotel experience was fine. We did not use the pool. But we very much enjoyed our room, balcony, ocean views & the sounds of the ocean. The proximity to and access to the beach is what we wanted and we certainly received it. The food in the Bistro was fine. However, the LONG wait for breakfast food is a real issue. We ate breakfast there on the first day. The wait after ordering was long (at least 20 minutes), but we remained patient and the food was very good. On day 2, we waited for over 30 minutes for our food to be delivered from the kitchen. Being as we were not seeing any food coming out of the kitchen for any of the tables around us, we told the server to cancel our order. This was at 10am (when we ordered), a time that I wouldn't consider to be their busy breakfast time. The server was nice & apologetic about the situation.

Best spot in Florence

Fabulous beachfront property. Our room was beautiful and spotless. The staff were very friendly. We had a wall blow dryer that broke, they came immediately to replace it.
