Hotel stay review
The location of the hotel will put you in the heart of Pittsburgh. However I had a bad experience while checking Friday night, the person at the front desk was rude, not helpful at all and had an attitude. Requested to change the room he didn’t even bother looking at the computer to see if he had rooms. Valet services suck, from 10 pm to 3 am Friday we were trying to check in the vehicle. No valet personnel was available, when to the front desk to ask about getting help. The same individual was being rude unhelpful, I asked if he can contact them and he said no. The room looked dirty, the sheets the pillows need be upgraded. Restroom was stain, the floor look dirty.
Nope! Won’t be back!
Cons Unfortunately, my stay at Embassy Suites Pittsburgh was very disappointing. While the beds were comfortable, that was about the only positive part of the experience. The room was not very clean, and within the first 10 minutes of arriving, the bathroom door handle fell off. I immediately contacted the front desk, but no one seemed concerned or interested in addressing the issue. The experience at the hotel bar only made things worse. The bartender was rude, the drinks were poorly made, and the prices were far too high for the quality. Overall, this stay fell far below my expectations. I won’t be staying here again and would not recommend it to others.
Great hotel for ball park
Free drinks at 5.30 before ball game, close proximity to ball park, great view of ball park from near reception.
Good location, spacious room, common spaces could use some attention
The breakfast was good, and the room was nice and clean (and spacious!). We liked that the location was central to other locations, and the view was beautiful.
Cons We used the pool in the morning and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned up from the previous night - there were used towels and a little garbage around and no clean towels to use. The flow of the breakfast area wasn’t great - it got really congested in some areas.
