Eritage Resort

Beautiful setting

Stayed 2 nights in this unique resort. Beautiful architecture. Rooms are extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. Setting among the vineyards is quiet and Walla Walla is a 10 minute drive to shopping & restaurants. The facility is well maintained & extremely clean. Our only criticism is the dining area. Service is sporadic and unorganized It was fine for breakfast but we chose to have dinners in town. The cottages are definitely the quieter option as in the evening if the dining room is busy the main inn rooms can hear all the noise.

Relaxing with very clean and spacious rooms

We booked a cabin on the lake room. It was very spacious. Super quiet atmosphere around the entire resort. The room was impeccably clean too. Shower was perfect. Lots of nice touches overall. The deck/balcony was nice to have as well. Ample parking. The room came with a wine tasting, which was nice. The room also comes with BREAKFAST from their menu (choice of egg/meat breakfast, avocado toast, oatmeal, or yogurt). Staff were very friendly. The chef was very nice and very accommodating. Resort offered bikes but we didn't use them. We would stay here again. (During the night, there may be noise from wildlife, fyi) *FYI - It's about a 10 min drive or so into town. AND there is a brand new winery within walking distance of Eritage called Reali Family Vineyards. Would HIGHLY recommend doing a tasting there.

ERITAGE RESTAURANT needs to look closely at their pricing and portion sizes.

Eritage Restaurant. .. 2027 Nov 27 we had Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. While the food had good flavor THE WHOLE MEAL WAS COLD-EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS COLD. The hot soup (suppose to be hot) was tepid. The entree was not even warm. The vegetable side dishes were cold. ALL dishes were not even warm from sitting under the heat lamp!!! The service was eradic and very disappointing. I had to ask TWO TIMES FOR A TEASPOON AND SUGAR!! The table seated behind us was seated after we were AND YET they received their food way before we received our food! They need to clarify the SIZE of their potions and pricing. It's a good thing that we questioned the portion size of the shortrib entree .. IT WAS A WHOLE RIB which would have easily served TWO PEOPLE. The side dishes could have served four people. Adjust PORTION SIZE pricing to be more realistic with what the portion is... and if it is inclusive of app. / sides / dessert. (e.g. compre/ european for complete!) We saw various entrees being served and thank goodness we asked and ordered accordingly OR WE each would have ordered an entree and then WOULD HAVE HAD COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF LEFT OVERS (equivalent to two total meals for two people) TO GO AS WELL AS A TOTAL BILL THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN WAY OUT OF WHACK!! All items were listed as an ala carte with the exception of the turkey dinner... We would have ordered dessert but the server never asked if we would like dessert.... "just would you like your check"!!! LAST TIME WE WILL DINE THERE. AND it is too bad as they have a lovely dining room and view? the food flavors show promise JUST GET THE PORTION SIZES and pricing MORE REALISTIC and take time to describe your menu items. Thank You! Beyond disappointing

Came here for thanksgiving dinner. Paid $65 dollars per plate. It was all cold. The turkey was cut up into chunks for the table to share. Turkey nugget style. We had to agree on 3 sides to share among 6 people. No salad, no rolls, no drinks, no dessert. Originally they didn’t even bring out the “Yukon puree”. We had to ask and they seemed put out that we wanted that. The gravy was honestly 1 cup total for all 6 of us. We asked for salt and pepper that they brought out in salad bowls. Serving utensils were an after thought and still short in number. The dressing was 3/4 crouton crunch. We had to pay 20 deposit per plate that was then added to the wrong check. We came here because in years past it has been fantastic. Unfortunately this was my first year. The waitress didn’t come back to refill waters and only offered to comp sub par dessert after she asked my date how the meal was. Not to mention it took 20 minutes for them to take our beverage order. At least we brought amazing company to spend the 2 hour with (no we did not linger). And yes the dessert, which should have been warm, was cold as well. Cheers to good story and thanksgiving dinner somewhere else next year.

Very nice stay except for view

I liked it all -Chef Jack is wonderful!!! L'ocvitaine products wonderful Wine in room Nespresso Happy hour etc etc
