Great place on the ocean

We have been staying here for over 20 years and this year introduced the Ester Lee to the next generation of the family and it was amazing to share all the great memories here! We will always come to the Ester Lee!

Cons There's nothing not to like!

If you're looking for modern this is not the place for you, but for everyone else it's a good choice

amazing view. Historic charm. Very clean. Pet friendly. Front desk staff helpful and pleasant.

Cons Access- many stairs and steep walk to beach. Could be difficult to get onto 101, but that would be the case with any property located on this busy highway.

Very seventies feel but adequate and clean

The view was spectacular, beach access was great. Great water pressure, nice beds.

Cons The furniture could have been more comfortable, the blinds were difficult to use, and there should be a smart TV. The sun is hot as hades mid-day and AC would be a plus!

The ocean view was the best part. We were able to walk to the beach.

Cons The building is older and can use some maintenance.

The staff is super friendly and I like the proximity to Nelscott Reef and Taft beachfront.

Cons Room could have been cleaner upon arrival, but the housekeeping staff was very accommodating , with fresh towels and linens, And the exhaust fan in the bathroom was really loud

The view was beautiful there was beautiful large windows and a unique viewing point from inside the comfort of the hotel

Cons The place is extremely outdated. And low on the maintenance side. My room smelt like dog pee. I bought a plug-in freshener to help eliminate the smell. The showers are extremely small so if you're a larger person this probably wouldn't be the place you would want to stay if you had to take a shower and also the shower head sprays and leaks everywhere. The general maintenance of the place was not good. The best part was the viewing.Windows has large beautiful bay windows so you could see the ocean and the ocean front. That's probably the only perk other than it having a kitchen. No heating, no air conditioning. Good thing that the weather was perfect. If I was going on a trip out of town to go to the ocean and this trip was solely for giving my dog an experience at the beach then this would be the place I would select. This is not a place that I would select to take my family on a Beach vacation and pay top dollar for. It was site unseen for me. Made reservations online and just dealt with it. Because there weren't any other options at that time. Very over priced!
