Hotel Location was excellent, the hotel style was good and the addition of a pool was excellent for a cooling dip after a warm days walking around the french quarter

It was fine. Next time, ask for a description of the fan in the bedroom before committing.

The bedroom was small, but intriguing- felt like a good sense of place. The pool area was simple and relaxing. Absolutely perfect location in relation to Jackson Square and restaurants. The door greeter was very nice and had a great knowledge of the hotel. Front desk were neutral- receptive if needed.

Cons The room was very cute, but hard to sleep in! The air conditioning unit ran the fan even when turned off completely, and directed the air directly onto the bed. I had to cover the fan with clothing draped over the unit to reduce the aggressive airflow. No matter, I woke up with a dry throat and limited sleep. The sheets were super thin and short- bed was not comfortable.

Amazing - can't wait to come back!

Room - we had a room with a window facing out towards Decatur and the room darkening shades were beautiful and functional. The antique furniture and decor hit the right tone for understated elegance. Best nights rest in a long time. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Having an elevator in a NO building was a plus too since I had some knee issues. We have even booked follow up visits for our son's wedding next April. The patio is simply gorgeous, and we can't wait to take wedding photos there! Convenient location to all the happenings in and around the French Quarter. Loved it!

Lovely stay!

We had 3 nights here, and it was an excellent stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and easy walking distance to all the sights. Our room was spacious and clean, and well equipped - and very quiet. We overlooked the small pool in the interior courtyard, and it was very quiet at night (we were also there in August, which is low season). Coffee machine, daily housekeeping, and comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant, and the place has plenty of atmosphere - we had a really nice stay.
