Outstanding hotel with security problem
Central location, outstanding art deco building. Rooftop breakfasts superb, as well as one dinner. Quiet room despite next to Zocalo.
Cons Safe in room! It did not work when arrived at 4 AM from Madrid. It took two hours to get it working. Finally, the batteries were off in safe, the security realized. When arriving first time in Mexico, you want your passports not be stolen. Also, safe was not attached to wall.
Very Grand Experience.

Cons If security is tight then you might need to walk the rest of the way to reach the hotel. This is because the hotel is close proximity to the presidential palace.
