Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bothell, WA

The hotel manager greeted us and since we had a bit of time before check in, she recommended a great restaurant in town for brunch. We then had a lovely early afternoon walking around and then she accommodated us with an early check in.

I had a better stay at a Best Western than this Hilton

Staff was super nice

Cons You can tell nothing in the building has been updated in a while. It was really apparent in the uneven, hard, groaning mattress and flattening pillows. It was VERY apparent when we were shocked awake by the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason at almost 5am in the morning. I was thankful I was able to grab all my mother’s medicine (she is not very mobile anymore) use the elevator to bring her and her scooter down to evacuate. I was really glad i had the peace of mind to grab my glasses, cell and car keys so we weren’t waiting in the cold. Turns out a faulty leak somewhere, leaked on something and triggered the fire alarm.

Cons Room service every other day was disappointing

Even though it was right on the 405 it felt like there was privacy
