Infuriating and unclear Pet practices.

Room was nice and very clean.

Cons Clear communication and policies. I booked through Booking.com. The verbiage indicated it was a pet friendly hotel, the only reason I booked this hotel. There was no indication that special arrangements needed to be made. When I got there, was informed that there were no Pet friendly rooms available and the room that I was assigned was not pet friendly. I went back to Booking.com thinking I had missed some communication and there was no other indication other than we are pet friendly. I went through the set of rules that was posted and there was nothing indicated at all or even referenced about pets. This is a terrible practice. I was informed that I would have to pay a $200 deep cleaning fee because guests can be very sensitive. My question is are they not sensitive when they come into the lobby or the elevator when other pets have been there? The whole thing was infuriating and my spouse ended up leaving and driving home for three hours in the dark. Completely ruined our weekend. I don’t know if I’m going to get charged for the $200 fee even though our pet left when we were kicked out. If I am, I will definitely fight it. If you don’t have a pet, it’s probably a great place to stay for $250 a night.

Sleeping was so comfy, amazing pillows. Breakfast was great.

Cons Direct TV. Who watches cable anymore? 100 channels and nothing to watch was an absolute bummer. The layout for breakfast was more like setting in a library, so not so breakfastie but officie vibes.

Great location, but a bit spendy for the room. Cleanliness is an issue.

We have stayed here a few times. Location is great. Love the walking trail.

Cons There were ants running around the floor and tables in the dinning area. Didn't see any near the breakfast food area though. One of the side doors to leave the building (outside the stairwell) had a bunch of bugs crawling around. The little fridge in our room clearly wasn't cleaned out as there were empty soda bottles. Found a bunch of hair in the shower which makes me think it wasn't properly cleaned.
