Nous avons été surclassé et avons reçu une chambre plus spacieuse avec un balcon et la vue sur le Rhin ! Accueil très sympathique. Vue magnifique. Lits confortables. Royal !

Outstanding location. Beautiful exterior rather disappointing inside.
The location is exceptional. I don’t think I could have stayed anywhere better in the city. The exterior of the building good. The beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom and linens very clean
Cons Sooooo hot in my room but that could also be said of everywhere I visited in Basel these few days. The Swiss don’t seem to do aircon. I did request a fan for my room based on previous reviews and thankfully they had supplied 2 especially which were essential on the 29 and 30 degree days. The interior of the hotel has had a revamp but it’s ultra basic, rather sparsely furnished but the view from my balcony certainly made up for it.
