Hotel Zoe Fisherman’s Wharf

Great spot, nice hotel just parking situation left sour taste in our mouth from the start.

The location is great. There are electric bikes you can take for free (although we couldn’t get it to work on our phones and the staff had no idea how to help). The beds were comfy.

Cons We arrived on the first day and was told that there was no room for us to park the car, even though one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the parking facilities. The guy at the car valet told me to drive to a car park a few doors down which ended up being closed. When I came back he said he can’t help me. For the price you pay I would have expected better customer service. We then had a baby and 2 dogs wake us up at 6am, so bare in mind that animals are allowed. This was however resolved and we were moved to a different floor. We also had just got engaged, which we mentioned to the hotel staff. Although nothing is ever expected, they did not even mention anything upon our arrival. We stayed in 3 other hotels around this visit who all congratulated us and gave us complimentary upgrades.

The hotel was in a great location, with everything easily accessible on foot or by Uber. There were plenty of restaurants and sightseeing spots in the area. We also got fresh towels every day which was a nice gesture.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was great. The location was very good.

We really liked the property, the decor, and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms.

Cons The reception staff could have been more helpful, except for the person on duty the first morning who was very helpful. There could have been more amenities, like a bar and corner shop

Great option for an inner city stay!

This is a very comfortable hotel to stay at. We had a room on the 4th floor, which allowed us a bit of a view over the area. The room (and bathroom) was spacious, and full of little extras (coffee machine, lots of toiletries), and we loved that we received daily cleaning. We made use of the gym at the sister hotel in the next block, but found that we struggled to get a weights workout in. There are plenty of aerobic machines, but all they have for weights is a dumbbell set and a bench. Like all the major US cities, there are homeless (druggies and crazies) everywhere, but at no time did we feel in danger. We really enjoyed the S'mores treats that were supplied on the night we were there. There are several rental bicycle shops nearby, or if you are inclined, the hotel has electric bikes available.
