Cool Portland vibe

Cool place to stay despite the high number of homeless individuals in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, especially because of the numerous restaurants close by and the reasonable walking distance to downtown. I found it a bit pricey for what it offers, but I believe that is simply the average for Portland.

Cons The room lacked a refrigerator, and having the ice machine located all the way down in the underground parking lot was a bit inconvenient.

We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend that motel to anyone staying in Southeast Portland.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. Loved the Fun Vibe.

I really liked the unexpected quirky vibe with the twist on words and phrases. I didn't expect such a fun playful experience. The simplicity of my room was like no other I have experienced. No hooks anywhere in the room, no phone, no coffee pot, no closet or hangers, etc. etc. BUT I find this simplicity probably helps with keeping everything neat and tidy. I loved that they had a fridge and snacks in the room that you could purchase.

Cons I wish the morning coffee option was a little better for guest staying in the "Original Jupiter". The ice machine was in a decent location, but there was no option for filling water bottles.

The ac unit was so loud we could sleep. The people upstairs were stomping . There was no place to put your clothes / suitcase. No way to turn off the bathroom fan. Room super small.
