Great Stay at a Nice, New Pet-Friendly La Quinta!

We really appreciate that La Quinta's are pet-friendly and the room was very nice despite being a pet room (no smell, no torn carpet, etc). Almost all the staff we interacted with were very nice and competent. We liked the size of the room and that La Quinta uses fillable toiletry items versus the throw-away style. We loved the gym, and though we didn't use it, liked that there was a pool. The room was comfy and the bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the luggage carts. Lastly, the breakfast was nice and lots of options.

Cons We had a room with an adjoining door and we could hear our neighbors, as they were not quiet or respectful. Such is life in a hotel, but added insulation would be nice. We also wish there had been a smart TV so we could watch our own content (you couldn't screen cast or access typical apps), but that is a nit-pick.

Cons The staff during check in didn’t give me the needed information during check in for example breakfast times and wifi password. When I went in my room I discovered l didn’t have the information,so l called the desk. The staff told me wifi wasn’t free anymore it’s for rewards members. I was so disappointed because this wasn’t my first time staying at LaQuinta.Last time l stayed ,wifi was available for everyone.At least they should have pointed the changes on wifi.
