Oceanview Inn At The Arch

The price was perfect for our short stay. We loved the location!

The location couldn’t have been better! Walkable to the beach, shops and restaurants!

Cons No ocean view, even though the name of the hotel is called the Ocean View! The room was large, and beds were comfortable. Would have appreciated having a balcony to sit on, so we could at least hear the ocean.

Cons The room was gross. Bathroom tub was dirty, blood on the ground in the bathroom, beds were done half-assed and the room that is "pet free" smelled like dog. I stay here every year and this year was not great.

We like that's it so close to the ocean and downtown.

Cons We reserved and paid for an oceanview room. The room did not have an ocean view. We went back to the front desk immediately after seeing the room. The woman at the front desk was not helpful nor sympathetic at all to the situation. She only said they had no other rooms available, "sorry" . I had even sent a message 2 weeks before we arrived telling them the ocean view was very important as I am slightly handicapped and cant walk the beach so my joy in visiting the area is being able to see the ocean. They never offered to move us nor said anything other then sorry. .

Minor problem with room not being ready resulted in an upgrade to a suite. Great customer service.

Cons My room was not ready and when it was ready it was still dirty. It took 3+ hours to check into my room that was supposed to be ready at 4.
