Cons Nothing

Let down badly by serious nighttime noise and unresponsive staff, three nights with almost no sleep

Rooms very sparse, limited storage space. We booked two rooms for three nights, and both were affected by significant noise disturbance. Staff congregated in the corridor directly outside our rooms — talking, watching videos on their phones, and banging doors in the staff/private rooms opposite us. This happened repeatedly, including multiple times overnight, and we were woken up again and again. The last night was the worst of all. For two rooms in a hotel of this standard, this is not what we expected to pay for. Pool: The pool area itself was genuinely lovely — one of the few things that worked well during our stay. Food: The food throughout our stay was very good, and the massages we booked were excellent — real high points. Service: This is where things fell apart. Reception staff in particular did not speak enough English to handle basic requests, which made even simple communication difficult. On top of that, several emails we sent directly to the hotel went completely unanswered, so there was no way to get the noise issue addressed while we were still there. Overall: A hotel with real strengths in food, pool, and spa, let down badly by noise management and a reception/service team that couldn't communicate with or respond to guests. Three nights with almost no sleep is hard to overlook, especially when we tried to flag it and got no response.

With two rooms booked, this affected our entire party, not just one room. On top of that, communication with the hotel was consistently poor. Reception staff in particular did not speak enough English to handle even basic requests, and multiple emails we sent directly to the hotel went completely unanswered — so there was no way to get the noise issue resolved while we were actually there. Overall: three nights of lost sleep, with no response or acknowledgment from the hotel when we tried to raise it, AND NO COMPENSATION

Rooms spacious quiet and clean. Great breakfast . Location adjacent to palace

Cons A bit rabbit warren like so can be confusing returning to your room for the first time from breakfast area
