Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center

We didn’t stay. We canceled our reservation.

We didn’t. We were scheduled to check in at 4. We were there around 3:30pm and were told our room should be ready by 4. We waited, and waited, and at 4:45pm I checked with the desk and the room was still not ready and they had no idea when it would be ready. We canceled our reservation all together.

Cons Didn’t get to see much of the property as we did not stay.

Everything was perfect! I was able to check in early and that process was so easy. The clerk was exceptional! The walk to watch the braves game was not bad at all, much better than driving i would think. The breakfast was probably the best ive had in so long! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The place is great! I will be back.

Cons I got charged for my room even though i had paid for it through booking.com. The clerk did tell me that booking.com didnt send payment for the room yet. She told me next time go through Expedia, there are never issues with them. I was the 2nd person today that it had happened to.

Great Staycation

The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was clean. I love the park being next to the hotel; it was great for walking the dogs. I also appreciate the $50 pet fee. I've done several "staycations," but I have found pet fees to be too expensive. I also ate at the one restaurant you have; the Sangria was perfect, and the wings were delicious. The service was great!

Cons My only issue with my stay (which keeps me from giving it a 10) was that the indoor pool was too cold. The hot tub was nice, but I really wanted to swim in the pool; the temperature was too painfully cold, so I could only use the hot tub.

Another Fantastic Stay

Staff is Always fantastic! We stay here Once a Year for the Dodgers Braves Series and we like that it's close to stadium to walk to and rooms are Large & Clean.

Cons Can't see Truist Park anymore from any of the rooms. Braves are building another Annoying Hotel adjacent to their Stadium. So where we'd always get the rooms with stadium view, you cannot anymore as of this year. Not the fault of the Renaissance Waverly Atlanta.

Amazing can’t wait to stay here or anoth location

Staff very friendly and professional, 5 elevators to get up to the rooms, outside and inside of rooms are carpeted so no nose at all, bed was so comfortable it felt like I died and went to heaven for 8 hours, atmosphere was amazing everyone hanging out outside and in the corridor where there’s a bar and eatery and just enjoying themselves and just an overall excellent experience

Cons That I couldn’t stay longer and having to pay to park on the premises but not too bad cause it keeps unwanted people away from your car

Overall good, I would come again

Ease to get to other places, restaurants, shopping

Cons Customer service needs to Improve, we had a large group, however, all staff need to be held accountable for customer service, mainly front desk
