View of boats and water were just what we were looking for, but restaurant was very disappointing.

Like the water view from the rooms and like the balcony. It was fun to see families having a good time along with their dogs. The firepits and seating was wonderful, along with the free s'mores fixing was a real treat.

Cons We ate at the onsite restaurant. It was manned by some staff that wan not very friendly and they seemed very overworked. It took us an hour to get a very bad cardboard pizza and our server kept apologizing for the wait. Needless to say we did not eat there again. Another restaurant on the site would have been nice. Also, their drink menu was very limited. I can understand that they didn't have a big enough staff to make more choices available so we just ordered soft drinks, which did not get refilled until we called our server over and after an hour they were empty. The other thing that was a little concerning is that I never saw anything get picked up from the grounds outside. I finally started picking up garbage and people's left over clothes that was all over the grounds from the weekend stay.

It appeared to be a nice resort 30 years ago but time has pased it by.

Cons The facilities were in need of repair and maintenance. They had updated part of the room with cheap improvements. The people at the restaurant were a bunch of college age people who had no training. They were almost nonexistent.

The property is a beautiful location. It is serene and peaceful. There were good food options for a short stay with good quality. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Cons I have stayed here in later winter months and found the value good but the cost for staying in the summer is exorbitant. The facilities are outdated 90’s/00’s decors with cosmetic, mechanical and other issues. At a lower rate per night it is okay but $450+ I expect more out of a property.

Loved that it had an outside pool and a steam room - so loved the steam room there difficult to find in hotels anymore- the had alot of areas to visit and also play games inside and outside

Cons The hot tub didn't really bubble
