Sutton Place Hotel Halifax

Fantastic stay

Great hotel nothing was to much trouble, great bar with fabulous bar staff great cocktails. Restaurant at breakfast was lovely great food. Great touch on our last night we were left a bookmark for myself and a glasses cleaner cloth for him.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely room, the most comfortably beds and a perfect base for our trip to Halifax. Excellent room service. Lovely robes and toiletries. Very clean and elegant. My kids loved it here! We would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent location. Walking distance to most attractions, the Citadel, the harbourfront area, restaurants and shops. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Bathroom was bigger than expected with a separate water closet and a spacious walk-in shower.

Cons The room was smaller than expected. The wifi was not as strong as expected, coverage was spotty at times.

A great spot to explore central Halifax.

The hotel is in a very central position, only 5 mins walk from the waterfront. We had a clean spacious room with a view of the harbour.

Cons The parking is a bit pricey.

Location

Cons Small rooms, odd toilet access, carpet has not been (or not well) vacuumed. Access to the Hotel entrance was difficult due to valet vehicle movement drop off, pick up and standing guests etc. Several times this scene have been repeated during our stay. Convenient basement parking has not been mentioned.

Sehr schönes Hotel in der Altstadt von Halifax. Kurzer Weg zur Zitadelle und zum Meer. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in großem Zimmer. Sehr sauber und ruhig. Alles in allem prima!
