Interesting, comfy bed, fun deer, beautiful view

The view when I walked into the room was amazing. It was a very tiny room but the slider faced the water and it was beautiful. The bed was very comfy and so quiet at night. I'm the morning there was a family of deer right outside my deck area. It was lovely. It's a very quaint motel that has had some work done to upgrade. A couple of fixes would have made it perfect. The town was a delight though.

Cons Although the view from the slider to the deck was wonderful there were also people walking on the path up to my window. There were no sheers on the window so after I figured out what was happening I had to close the draperies to keep everyone from looking in my room. And the huge spider in the bathroom. Really huge.

Nice for the most part except for our welcome to Port Townsend

Spacious clean comfortable beds close to downtown and good restaurants

Cons The grumpy and cranky older woman made us feel less than welcome upon our arrival. We assumed she is the owner/manager as looking at past reviews there are multiple reports of this gruff behavior and continues to happen. Luckily the other staff we spoke with a younger girl was very nice which made up for the grumpy lady.

Very pleased. Our room overlooked the harbor.

Cons Very small room including the bathroom. The mattress was very old and the bedframe extended past the mattress making for shin encounters.

Not what we expected from the website pictures.

Beds were comfortable & tv reception was good.

Cons we mistakenly booked the wrong date & the room available was not what we originally booked. The room was in a different part of the Inn. The paint was peeling on the deck & made it look very uninviting. The room seemed old & the entrance was not kept up & the door mat was curled & a hazard.
