Cons The hotel charges an extra fee for parking. Guest Parking should be included in the room package for registered guests. Park at the King's or Queen Shops.

The only thing four-star about this place was our excitement to leave.

That we only booked one night

Cons What an experience… and not in a good way. Thankfully, we only booked one night. That turned out to be the best decision we made, because it meant we could escape first thing in the morning. The disappointment started the moment we arrived. There’s someone standing outside who looks like a valet, but apparently their main responsibility is watching you park your own car. A nice touch if you’ve ever wanted the feeling of valet parking without any actual valet service. After checking in, we were greeted by a group of extremely loud and very drunk teenagers. Every guest seemed aware of them. Security, however, appeared to be on a different vacation. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was just… depressing. Guests looked miserable, and even the staff gave the impression they’d rather be anywhere else. Around 1:00 a.m., we discovered the drunk teenagers were staying in the room next to ours. They spent the night screaming, slamming doors, and banging on the walls so hard our bed frame was shaking. The front desk moved us to another room, which sounded promising until we opened the door and found it hadn’t been cleaned—despite the system showing it was ready. So back downstairs we went. By now it was around 1:30 a.m. Third time was almost the charm. We finally got a room that overlooked what appeared to be the hotel’s rooftop. At least it was quieter. The next morning, the shower barely worked, so we got to enjoy a refreshing cold shower before checking out. Exactly what you want after a terrible night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation, keep driving. The Airbnbs we stayed in for the rest of our trip were infinitely better. This wasn’t just the worst hotel of our trip—it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had in a long time.
