ARC Hotel, Washington DC, Series by Marriott

Good area , hotel a little underwhelming

Location was good close to Metro. Few shops and food places. Walk to Waterfront was about 20 minutes. Beds were a good size , tv , lift. Staff were helpful as much as would require.

Cons Hotel requires a refurbishment. The rooms were worn, door hard to close, carpets worn, windows were unable to close properly could hear the planes alot from the airport. Blinds were hard to pull. Bathroom was dated and didn't provide what was expected. There was some confusion on check in due to conflicts in system. Music from outside which started one morning at 6am. With the windows not closing properly this also didn't help with sleep.

Cons bed was uncomfortable. tv would go dark on some channels.

Location was very convenient.

Cons I asked several times before coming about an early check in due to an international flight and funeral. While they said there was no guarantee, the front desk indicated that 1:00 pm was likely. When I called day of they indicated maybe 3:00. When I came at 3:45 they said maybe not till 5:00. It was super frustrating and was an upgraded room that I had purchased. I was leaving to go meet people at 4::25 and the staff ran after me outside to let me know the room was ready.

Cons Staff.my air conditioning was horrible with a lot of noise. They did nothing. On Saturday people from room413. We're loud….. They did nothing.

My stay was restful and pleasant

I enjoyed my stay, the bed was very comfortable.

Cons A microwave in the room would've been helpful. And amenities in the room like there were in 2020
