NEVER AGAIN!

NOTHING. booked king city view- the view was the wall of the building next door picture was skyline view! Bike code did not work with citi bikes as advertised etc Staff not helpful at all! Could care less!

Cons EVERYTHING. View didnt exist! the king bed was boxed in so one person had to climb over the other to get out of it. no closet to put luggage in and no rack so luggage took up a large part of and area floor that was 4'x 7'. I know NY has small rooms but have stayed many places for $800/night that wasn't 2 people climbing over each other in the bed or turning sideways to get by each other because the room was so narrow! Glad we were only staying one night on our way from the west coast.

The staff were amazing and friendly rooms are way to small and would be great to have coffee maker in room so you don’t have to go downstairs when you first wake up

$600 a night for a broom closet

Cons I paid $600 a night at the Arlo, and I'm still trying to figure out what that price was for. I arrived at 8am and requested an early check-in. Every 35 minutes I was told my room would be ready soon. I finally got it at 1pm, and I was still charged for the early check-in. The room was smaller than a broom closet. No bathrobe, no breakfast included. The only "amenity" in the room was a little card that said "Tipping has gotten easier." Slippers cost $14 extra, and you had to pay for an umbrella too. Free water was capped at two bottles a day, like at a campsite. During my stay, I saw the exact same room listed $200 cheaper than what I'd paid. I asked to speak with the manager and was told he'd get back to me. He never did. At $600 a night, every add-on fee feels like an insult. A disgrace. I would not recommend.
