Cons Breakfast is not great, very few options and if want to swop and change anything they charge you. Also the breakfast area dark in comparison to rest of hotel which is bright

Cons I’m not sure if this is a Booking.com issue or a hotel issue; but we booked a Deluxe King room “with city views” well because of the location of the hotel, there are no city views. The hotel staff was very sweet and offered to move us to a front facing room but still had no city views. So, just be aware when booking that you will not have city views. Save yourself the money on the deluxe king suite, it’s no different than the other King rooms. The 1st photo is the room description on Booking.com, the 2nd photo is the view from our room, the 3rd photo is the front facing view.

Cons One small detail worth noting: the primary photo on Booking.com shows a lovely rooftop terrace, but it is actually exclusive to specific rooms rather than a shared amenity. It didn’t impact our stay, but having clearer expectations would have been nice.

The location of the hotel is excellent, 1 block away from the NYC Public Library and Bryant Park, also 2 blocks away from the Grand Central station but still in a quiet street with little to no traffic. The staff is great, made the stay a whole lot better because they were extremely polite and accomodating even when making modifications to the breakfast menu options. The quality of the beds, bedding and pillows is excellent as well as the quality of the bathroom products.
Cons The only thing I did not like and this is being nitpicky in excess is that the room needed more overhead lighting instead of individual lamps or at least a way to turn on all the room lighting at once.
The room was surprisingly large and quiet for Manhattan. Its proximity to Grand Central and Bryant Park was important for me.
