Cons the hotel was well below my expectations. i would not stay there again. the WIFI was very bad, and the staff didn't seem to care. the elevators are slow to arrive, and the room is the smallest i have been in - in years.

This is a very nice, clean, price efficient hotel to stay at in New York.

The location was great and the reception staff were super helpful with self check in.
Cons The main reason for the low score is that I left my blazer in the wardrobe on check out and realised within a couple of hours, when I informed the staff they said they will check and upon checking the blazer was not in the room. The room was still being cleaned at this moment and the only conclusion is that a member of the staff took the blazer. I travel frequently and on the few occassions I have forgot an item this is the 1st time I have not been reunited with it. Very disappointing.

The location is hard to beat. Near Grand Central, multiple subway locations, great food and close to he theaters if you're seeing a show.
Cons Elevators get a bit bogged down during busy times of the day making it slow to leave or return to your room. Bed and pillows were fairly comfy but a bit sagged at the end of the stay.
