Hyatt Place Scottsdale/Old Town

Friendly hotel and very convenient location

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Lovely big room with kitchenette. Great location, walkable for Scottsdale and I particularly liked Old Town. I had been warned about the Nightclub noise and so it was no surprise. My room was near the nightclub, albeit on the 5th floor, and I was there Friday and Saturday night. There were periods of quiet but then people would be outside shouting. I was jet lagged so was probably not going to sleep well anyway. There is nothing the hotel can do about this and it was mentioned on my confirmation e-mail. Pool area was nice.

Cons The noise from the nightclub and I also found the mattress a bit soft.

Convenient location. Everyone that worked there were very pleasant & extremely helpful.

Breakfast had no taste, coffee was very weak.

Cons Smelled so clean when you walked into facility

The staff was amazing super helpful and accommodating

The location was in the middle of all the downtown life and easy to get to and parking was accessible

Cons The pool was hott and not refreshing at all but the area was nice and misters and games were fun for the whole family

Normally a great place; elevator was a problem

Comfortable, extremely convenient to downtown

Cons Elevator didn’t work consistently without being reset

Very nice clean room with comfortable bed. Great complimentary breakfast.

Cons When I first arrived, I had to ask a hotel worker to find a desk person to check in. One elevator was out of service.
