Kimpton Hotel Eventi

Super

Es war alles toll. Es hat alles gepasst und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und helfend. SUper Hotel!

We stay at the Kimpton Eventi every year during the US Tennis Open.

Great location within a short walk of Penn Station, plus lots of nearby local transit stations and local dining options.

Cons We were charged an additional $20 to store a folding and airline-bagged Brompton bike for two hours. We were told it was a “union issue.”

Super friendly team

Breakfast was very good but slow service

Cons The AC system in our room broke . We were at a wedding when we were notified that it could not be fixed and that we would be moved to another room. Late at night when we came back we asked for help to repack and move and were told that there was no one who could help. We were pretty unhappy and I think the attendant understood and someone showed up to help move our things from one room to the other . There was no apology or mention of the incident till I was asked on departure how it was and said the stay was just ok. After explaining why they credited $75 from my stay. A 5 star hotel should be able to offer a better response to these situations

Cons This is usually a solid hotel and I have stayed several times there. However, this time I did not have a good experience. I changed my booking approx. 10 days prior to my arrival via Booking.com. Apparently, there was a communication issue between Booking.com and the hotel and they were not aware of my changed arrival time. As a result the hotel thought I was a no-show, charged me 3x the correct value (which they will reimburse) and my check-in took approx. 40min. Also, my room was not cleaned up once during the two days (privacy sign was not up). I had to call at night to get fresh towels.

Amazing!!!!!

People were amazing Quick to respond to request. Beautiful patio.

Cons Mosquito bites on patio - not their fault though.
