Rydges is a very short (2 minutes?) walk from the airport terminal building which is great for an early morning flight. Very quiet (no airport noise). Comfy bed. Pleasant staff.v The (50 cents) #760 bus into Coolangatta conveniently stops at the airport terminal. Plus, the (50 cents) #777 bus conveniently goes from the airport to Burleigh Heads where you can walk across the road to catch a (50 cents) tram to Broadbeach, Surfers, etc. Fabulous transport system!
