Reliable option in Tribeca

Great location in Tribeca, comfortable bed, and some of the staff are friendly. The hotel still has some of its original charm. They accommodated my late checkout, which I appreciated.

Cons The hotel is just not what it once was. The staff used to take a much more personal approach (acknowledgement as a return guest, e.g.). The room was looking run down and in need of an update (stains on wall, chair, etc.). Charging in the room is outdated for USB type, which is not handy for international travelers.

The actual rooms don’t reflect what’s advertised online, unfortunately

Good location, quiet rooms.

Cons I was given an old, dated room with a tiny window - nowhere near what’s advertised online. I think the staff knew it was a bad room because they immediately called me to check if the room was okay, and subsequently they immediately recalled which room I was staying in - as if that room was infamous. I asked if I could get an updated room and was told it was not available for my fare price.

Great hotel, staff & location..some floors in need of renovations

I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years- Location is fabulous! Staff is excellent.

Cons We stayed on the 5th floor and our room although spacious for a NYC hotel was showing signs of wear and tear. My family stayed on the 3rd floor & had a more updated room.

Good location and large room but lacking convenience for a comfortable and easy stay.

Location, Large Room.

Cons No tea coffee making facilities in the room, only available through their restaurant which opens at 7am. I'm ready for coffee at 5/6am. This is very inconvenient. Bathroom not enough space to place your toiletries items, despite room being large. Plugs, all USB and us, so not easy for an international traveller. Type C is the norm now. No full length mirror in room and requested one, to which they responded no. However pics online and videos show full length mirrors in room.

Generally good. I would stay again if the prices are similar to surrounding hotels

Cons Some of the rooms are looking at the back of a street. So no sunshine
