Great staff and shuttle, but overpriced with major elevator and room issues

Great Staff: The majority of the front desk and service staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to our needs throughout the stay. Housekeeping: The housekeeping team was consistent and thorough, making sure our rooms were cleaned every single day. Shuttle Service: The complimentary shuttle service to and from two nearby subway stations (for both pickup and drop-off) was convenient and greatly appreciated.

Cons Elevator Issues & Safety: Elevator service was a major pain point with long wait times. Worse, two elevators broke down during our stay—resulting in someone getting stuck inside, the fire department having to be called, and guests having to take the stairs until they were fixed. Room Maintenance (Room 701): The room had a large, noticeable carpet stain. Additionally, the glass shower door did not fully close or seal, causing water to flood the floor every time it was used, so we constantly had to lay down towels. Uncomfortable Beds: The beds were uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Overcrowded Breakfast: Breakfast was packed every morning, making it hard to find anywhere to sit and eat. Rude Bar Service: The tall, light-skinned bartender on duty was not friendly. When my friend politely asked if he could turn up the volume on the TV near the ATM, he became visibly annoyed and acted rudely toward him. Poor Value for Money: At $3,083.24 for 12 nights, this stay was simply not worth it. I have stayed at far cheaper hotels in other U.S. cities and countries that offered much better quality, comfort, and overall value.

El personal fue muy amable y atento. Ayudaron en todo lo posible. Ofrecen café y palomitas a demanda. Todo estaba muy limpio. Las habitaciones están muy bien. Hay una parada de metro a 10 min a pie que te lleva al centro en poco tiempo.

Cons Tienen un problema con los ascensores. Hay colas largas de varios minutos para subir y bajar de las habitaciones. La zona de desayuno se llena por las mañanas y cuesta encontrar mesa. La ubicación, de noche, no es la mejor zona para andar por la calle.

Excellent hotel

Check in and check out was really easy. We came earlier than check in time but the staff was so kind to let us check in early. Everything was clean and neat. There was a free shuttle that takes us to the Queensboro station.

The room was big and the beds were comfortable.

Cons Elevators were broken for couple of days and most of the days not all of them were functional making all the tenants wait for long time to go the room or get to the ground level. In some days I had to climb to the 7nth floor
