Cons Would've been nice to have non alcoholic options in place of the complimentary champagne other guests received upon check in.

Great historic hotel in awesome location with little things to improve

This old hotel is fabulous and is in a very convenient location. The rooms are very roomy and decorated well. There are nice bars and restaurants in the hotel to enjoy. Also saw lots of people enjoy the high tea, we didn't but is looked nice. Valet service is available and there is a small welcome drink offered when checking in.

Cons Price of valet service, check-in and out pretty slow, bars in the hotel close early, would be nice that employees where some sort of uniform, room needed some little TLC (closet door, faucet loose, door to room hard to open needs some adjustments. These are things House keeping should see and report them and have all in tip-top shape for next guests.

Cons The air conditioner ran all night in my room thermostat did not work

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the music in the lobby and Ships Tavern. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to sing along with John in the Ships Tavern. A delightful stay!
