Vibe
Hotels built for two. Think candlelit courtyards, deep soaking tubs, rooms with views you actually sit and watch together, and the kind of turndown service that involves rose petals without being asked.

Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe
Staff and service are excellent and attentive. The setting feels peaceful and luxurious with great views and amenities like private hot tubs. Housekeeping has problems with cleanliness and attention to detail, leaving blood stains and contact lenses in rooms.

Hotel Santa Fe, Hacienda & Spa
Spacious, clean rooms with good beds and nice views, though old windows let in road noise from outside. Staff is warm and attentive. The hotel smells like wood smoke, has a cozy fireplace lounge, and sits walking distance from downtown, but the hot tub breaks frequently.

La Fonda on the Plaza - Temporarily Closed
Staff treat you like family and the historic Santa Fe architecture with modern bathrooms feels genuinely curated. Location on the Plaza beats everywhere else downtown. Food costs a lot, but rooms and service justify the price for most guests.

Rosewood Inn Of the Anasazi
The gorgeous rooms are small but comfortable with good beds, though noise from doors and motorcycles bothers guests. Service quality swings wildly—some staff excel while managers and restaurant workers often neglect guests and miss recovery opportunities. The restaurant food is excellent but service lags significantly.
Hotel Chimayo
Hotel Chimayo has a vintage 1970s southwest charm with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a fireplace. Expect small TVs, dim lighting, small bathrooms, and weak shower heads in exchange for an excellent downtown location three minutes from the plaza. Staff are friendly and the attached bar and pizza restaurant are solid.

Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza
Fantastic front desk staff carry this aging hotel. Rooms have AC problems and visible wear, bathrooms sometimes have bugs, and the pool and hot tub are dirty. Location downtown is excellent, but the price doesn't match the condition.

Eldorado Hotel and Spa

The Inn of The Five Graces
Each room is unique and beautifully decorated with distinctive Santa Fe style. Staff treat guests like family and go out of their way to make stays special. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the on-site restaurant serves great food.
