A note from Curtis

I grew up in hotels. Not as a guest, as a kid following his mom to work, falling asleep in back offices, learning the rhythm of a property before I knew what hospitality meant. I've stayed in over 3,000 of them. Made beds in them. Managed them. Developed them. Owned them. Built a company because of them.

After all of it, I still believe the same thing I felt as a kid: the room is the hotel. It's where the stay actually happens. It's what you're paying for. Not the lobby, not the logo, the space you close the door behind you and finally exhale.
