Every scored room gets a number out of 100. It reflects how that one room actually treats the people who sleep in it.
Where the score comes from
Two kinds of evidence feed it:
- Verified stays. Reviews tied to a real reservation or a real Roomza booking. A guest who never stayed in the room cannot score it. See What makes a review verified.
- Signal derived on the open web. Public mentions of the hotel and its rooms, read and structured by Roomza.
The score also breaks down by what matters in a room: bed, noise, view, condition, Wi-Fi. You see those bars on every room page.
What can never touch it
Hotels cannot edit a score, and they cannot pay to change one. Roomza's share of a booking can never change a score either. Those rules are permanent and public in the Trust Charter.
Why scores move
Scores update as new verified stays come in. A room that gets renovated, or starts letting guests down, will drift to match. Fresh evidence outweighs old evidence.
