How a stay gets verified
- You booked on Roomza. The booking and the review live on the same account. The stay is proven by the reservation itself.
- The hotel confirms your stay. Hotels on Roomza share reservation records. Your review is matched to one, by your name and your room, before it counts.
- You came in through a review invite. Hotels send invites after checkout, by email or the QR code in the room. Each invite is minted from the reservation, so it carries the proof with it.
What hotels can and cannot do
Hotels can respond to reviews. They cannot edit them, remove them, or pay to bury them. No score can be bought, by anyone. The full rules are in the Trust Charter.
Why it matters
Scores built on verified stays are worth trusting. That is the entire product. When you read a room page, you are reading people who actually slept there.
