Great location, friendly staff and good food.

Great hotel in a great location. Solo traveller who stayed in the hotel July 2026. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was great but most importantly the location was excellent. Was easy to walk to go shopping, eating etc nice clean hotel highly recommended if you’re wanting to be in the heart of Kathmandu. 🇬🇧

The property is very conveniently placed in the centre of the town with all the markets close by... The best was a short walk to the most iconic Durbar Square... My big thanks to the staff who were very courteous and forthcoming Will definitely want to return and stay here again

Very helpful and friendly staff, therefore highly recommendable. Thamel location is ideal for making use of close night-life. But in-hotel dining is also a great idea, so no need to leave always.

Exceptional Hospitality in the Heart of Kathmandu

I had an excellent stay at Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location, making it easy to explore Kathmandu. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the entire team was warm, friendly, and professional. A special thank you to Hom Lamichhane from the Concierge team. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. His genuine hospitality and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable. He truly went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu and would definitely stay here again.
