Average hotel saved only by the service and location

Honestly this is not one of my best stays in Japan. As a Diamond member I was not upgraded because my 6 night stay was too long but that's alright. Upgrades are based on availability and not guaranteed, and the hotel offered 5,000 points in compensation. But the room they gave us seemed to be the smallest one they had. It was the size of a shoe closet and barely enough for two people. The bed was pushed up against the wall, which made it feel less like a hotel room and more like a college room. Furniture and decor was also feeling very tired. It was just very disappointing to be put in such a cramped and old room. The pillow was also way too soft and very uncomfortable. Perhaps the only saving grace for this hotel is the service, which was exceptional all across the board, and the location. It's within walking distance to Hakata station and there is a bus stop right in front that takes you to Tenjin and other parts of the city. The breakfast buffet spread was small but it had a fairly extensive Japanese food section with many local delicacies.

シャワーの故障があったが、 対応が早かった点。

Cons 良くなかった点というか 上記、シャワーの故障は、 清掃時に、確認されていれば 事前に防げたトラブルだと思います。

駅からの距離を考えると、ちょっと高めかと思います。

ビジネスホテルとは違うラグジュアリー感と、スタッフの接客が丁寧で良かった。

Cons チェックインの時、フロントの横でスタッフが「掃除してないってことですか？そんなはずないんですけど」という内容の会話を電話で大声でしていて、宿泊客に対する物言いとしてはとても厳しい口調だと思いました。これからチェックインする客に聞こえるところでそんなに大声で話さなくていいのにと思いました。
