A very comfortable hotel with great food, friendly staff and a spectacular view, but the swimming pool cleanliness needs

The hotel is very nice overall. The food is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bedding is absolutely wonderful, very soft and comfortable. The view from the window is also spectacular.

Cons Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not clean. There were hair and sand on the bottom, and the pool floor became slippery when it was not cleaned properly. Since the sea is not suitable for swimming, we spent most of the day at the pool. Because the pool water was not always clean, it was difficult to enjoy swimming properly.

Lovely stay

I had a lovely stay at the Angsana, the room was beautiful and the location is incredibly peaceful. I’m a solo traveller and there were a lot of families but I don’t mind this and noticed the hotel also has a dedicated children’s pool. The sea water on the beach isn’t the cleanest, but still a lovely view and nice warm water. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My room attendant Masum was very attentive and kind. I left my ring in the safe and contacted the staff to get it back, who worked really hard to courier it to another part of Malaysia so I could pick it up and collect it. I was reunited with my ring and was very grateful! Many thanks!

everything was nice and service was generally good but the amenities of hotel was the best

Cons at the time of my check in, there was only one person at the counter and another customer was with the receptionist. i had to stand to wait for around 10 minutes.
