Disappointing Experience

Top Floor Sea View Room

Cons Was extremely disappointed at being put in a Lower Ground twin room with no view at all when I had paid for a Deluxe Double sea view room. The greeting on arrival was non existent, totally miserable staff member. When I queried if a lower ground floor room had a sea view, she said yes. We asked to move but couldn't until the next day. We asked if the twin beds in our lower ground floor room could be converted to a double, they said yes but it didn't happen. One 330ml bottle of water in the room given for 2 people to share! When we asked staff for another, we were told it was only 1 bottle per room. No irons in rooms and no coffee machines, just a kettle. To get access to the pool area from Lower Ground you have to walk through the restaurant which when sitting eating is not pleasant to see!. Reception staff just didn't want to engage with anyone walking into the hotel, no smiles, no eye contact. The outdoor Pool and area was clean. The indoor pool was extremely cold! We used the spa for a treatment each and that was good. . The room towels and beach towels provided had seen better days. When we were moved the next day to our Deluxe Double Sea View room which we had booked, the room and view was lovely. A huge difference from the dark dungeon we had come from. This room was large, bright and airy with a small balcony with chairs and a table. The Double bed was huge and comfortable

We were only bandb the breakfast we couldn’t fault so much choice room very comfortable all be it noisy

Cons Although breakfast was OK, it was the same every day. It was suited to Northern Europe and British hotels. Not for hotels in the Mediterranean area. A lack of traditional Greek/Cypriot breakfasts was there all the time.

The hotel is not huge so the communication is personal. They go out of their way to make you feel great. Staff super nice. Chef was making dishes especially for me. Location is excellent.

Cons In door pool didn't feel as warm as should be

Heavenly oasis

Particularly the wonderful garden around the pool. We have stayed here many times and it's the relaxed feeling we get sitting amongst the gardens on the grass which please us every time. The room is comfortable and spotless and the staff are friendly and efficient particularly Marina. See you again soon
