Great hotel, lovely staff

Very professional and efficient staff.. Room very clean and cleaning staff very efficient and pleasant. Room very spacious and designed very well. Coffee station had a great coffee machine. Fruit on each landing a lovrly touch. Location perfect.

Cons Coffee machine in room difficult to operate but coffee at coffee statio perfect touch.

Modern oasis in the heart of Basel with a fun rooftop restaurant

I really didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! The room was quite modern and sleek - very clean and well appointed. The rooftop restaurant was really fun and the staff was professional and made us feel really welcome and well cared for. Great location to public transportation, despite being in a walking zone, really just a few steps from taxis and trams and made for a quieter, non-traffic area which was really nice.

Cons The flat fee for breakfast is always something I try to avoid as I'm a light eater in the morning! But it was very good - just not a good value for me personally. The restaurant is also a separate business, so it was a little confusing upon check-out to have two bills to settle. Again, not an issue at all, but just good to be aware of. Overall a really perfect place to explore Basel!

Un hotel con onda y mucho estilo

Me encantó el trato de las chicas de la recepción. El hotel es hermoso. La habitación también. Un diseño súper moderno. La cama súper cómoda. Nos recibieron invitándonos a tomar algo en el rooftop. Eso nos encantó. Fue hermosa la estadía en el hotel. Lo recomiendo y volvería a ir. La ubicación también es buenísima.

Cons Il y a un chantier juste en face. Ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel mais le bruit peut être vite très dérangeant. C’est mieux de prévenir au moment de la réservation ou d’éviter d’attribuer la chambre juste en face du chantier.

Cons Nulla

The hotel is ideally located 10 minutes on foot from the central train station and within a short walk to town centre, sights and multiple tram stops. My room was beautifully appointed, huge and spotless. I booked a medium room and it was much larger than expected with a super comfortable bed! The bathroom products were luxurious and minibar was entirely free. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even the lady who ran the breakfast area was so lovely. The breakfast was super delicious, healthy and had a wide selection of beautiful local produce. It was a great way to start the day on the rooftop especially with the morning sun streaming in!

Cons The street the hotel is on is quite lively and the soundproofing isn’t great. There is also currently construction nearby and I was woken up at 7.30am by heavy drilling, but I suppose this is (hopefully) temporary.
