Baitong Hotel & Resort Phnom Penh

Gorgeous hotel, soundproofing = none existent

The hotel is amazing, this is our second visit in a couple of weeks.

Cons The noise (again) was unbearable. We stayed for one night this time prior to a very early morning airport run and were kept awake all night by a family screaming and scraping furniture about, even until 5am when we left. Such a shame that again we were so disturbed by noise in such a beautiful place. Twin room was not as nice as the garden terrace room we previously stayed in - that was definitely worth the upgraded cost!

Don't expect much

The pool is nice, the room had nice ambience about it. Good location

Cons They put us next to the housekeep so were woken up early even though there were not many guests. No guide from reception or help with anything. We had to find everything by ourselves. The facilities need an update, the hotel is old and you can tell.

Die zwei Pools inmitten der Pflanzen. Eine Oase mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind tip-top.

Always a delight to stay here.

The Baitong ticks all the boxes of a palace at a discount rate. My favorite hotel in Phnom Penh. Lovely stay always.

Love this place, already rebooked

The hotel is absolutely stunning and totally immaculate. Staff are wonderful and are there to help with anything you need. The rooms are really nice and very clean. We loved this hotel so much that we have cancelled our alternative plans for Sunday and have already rebooked to return!

Cons The room next door kept us awake 3x nights in a row with loving furniture and shouting at midnight or later. I recommend that when the hotel entertains a family with a small child, they don't place them next door to men who are clearly here to party!
