Cons Estoy acostumbrado a la calidad sobre todo de los amenities (shampoo, crema, etc) y los que tenía eran genéricos, en mi opinión no están al nivel del estándar del banyan tree y los precios que se pagan. También las almohadas me parecieron bastante incómodas. El buffet del desayuno es poco variado. No está mal pero uno espera otra cosa por el tipo de hotel.

Thai and Chile en Nogada on the rooftop

We stayed here because it was close to the zocalo and the rooms are quite comfortable. We ate at the Thai restaurant, and Giovanni took great care of us. I actually ordered Chile en Nogada and it was amazing. Would recommend!

A Hidden Banyan Tree, must stay!

Stayed 2nights before Mexico City business trip. It was better than what we expected! Location: About 2.5-3hrs from Mexico City Airport, we hired a car with a driver through the hotel. It was easy, but getting out from Mexico City took us an hour, so it wasn't a short ride. Wasn't sure if this long trip was worth it just for the weekends. But it was worth it. Hotel sits at the end of the historic downtown. Google map said to walk about 15min walk, wasn't bad at all. For us, it felt shorter. Room: Cutest room you can find. Old Mexican traditional, but modern and sleek design. My room was facing the back of the building, overlook the grassy patio area with a pink cathedral with 2 Juliette balcony. Room was big enough, has separate tub/shower/toilets. Only thing missing was full length mirror. Loved the decor and views. Restaurant: Beautiful breakfast with patio was great. Had dinner on first night at international restaurant and it was amazing. I have never tasted this much of great flavor! We ordered Roasted cauliflower and Quinoa salad, both were amazing. Breakfast was great and amazing selections. Had dinner at the rooftop Thali restaurant, was amazing too. I've been to other Banyan Tree resorts in Asia. It's different from other resort hotels and this is a city hotel, but felt like a resort hotel at some parts. Amazing service and cutest property, great restaurants. Hotel and restaurants seemed empty but this was a great find and hidden gem, must try. Just a note: Not many employees speaks English except for the front desk. So you need to have translation apps ready. Loved this hotel.

Nice stay in Puebla

Banyan is very very very nice hotel situated on a very quiet corner in a nicer part of Puebla. The service is top notch and the food and restaurant staff were really really good to us. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very tastefully decorated and it was a very comfortable stay.
